I coined this title from an article I read something ago. From way back women are made to believe the essence of their creation is to look good, wear make ups, etc. Its refreshing to see women who have changed this notions that we are nothing but bimbos and trophies. I don’t know about you but there’s fulfillment or euphoria when I get to do my things myself. The fact that we are the weaker vessels shouldn’t shine on how we manage our finances. No one is disputing the obvious that you need to look good but spending wisely shouldn’t be undermined . Let’s strive to be like the woman described in Proverbs 31. Here are tips:
- Come up with a budget.
Financial experts suggest you track your spending for a few months so that you start work on your budget knowing where your money is going. Make a list of your monthly expenses, using your bills and the information you gather.
Do it yourself, you can call it ‘ecomonizing’ but it will definitely pay off especially if you are not financial buoyant. You don’t have to go to the salon every saturday to wash your hair, all you need is a shampoo and other treatments. Doing thing yourself would make you a mastermind on many subjects..and remember google is your friend.
- Determine what you actually need.
Go through your closet and see what you already have. This is where you draw a scale of preference. If you don’t have a priority you will abuse the essence.
Get a vision
Once you have a goal its comes with a sense of purpose. If you don’t have a focus its hard to save for the future. As pertinent as it is for a woman to look good, its also important to visualize the future from now.
