OOTD: Nothing But Joy

In the early 90s
That was the beginning
Mama had me
She was definitely smiling…she called me GRACEI don’t know what inspired Wizkid to hit the studio to record Joy/ Nothing but joy. He even titled his album JOY, I will like to believe he has a profound understanding of those 3 alphabeths. But in my words I will describe JOY has an utmost state of happiness, a higher degree of happiness.
Galatians 5:22-23
22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

JOY is a spiritual thing and can only be given by God. When Neheimah 8:10b says ‘Do not grieve, The JOY of the Lord is your strength’ it expressly means when things ain’t going as it should His JOY will be your strength. When that dream job isn’t yours yet His Joy will still be in your heart and will be the strength you need to face tomorrow. It is that deep and its expression in lives is not temporary.

There is a promise of joy in trials and tribulations Psalms 30:5b ‘weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning’ if you key into it. Remember no matter what you’re going through, there’s always at the end of the tunnel
